Hello there from us here at The Vanishing Act! We are hard at work in post-production getting ready to bring you our second season in just under a month, but while we’re on hiatus, we wanted to bring you something special and introduce you to one of our favorite shows that we think you’ll absolutely love.
The One Stars, from Good Pointe Podcasts, is a comedic sci-fi show set aboard a spaceship called the Space Windu, where the suitably grumpy Negative Nancy and her only friend, Chatbot, bring you a regular selection of One Star reviews from across the multiverse. Excellently produced and written, genuinely laugh-out-loud funny, and winner of an Audio Verse Award for performance—in 2020—we think you’ll love the offbeat humor and colorful world of The One Stars.
Find them at goodpointepodcasts.com.
Writing & Sound Design by Jeremy Ellett.
With performances from Emma Elizabeth, Blythe Renay, Garan Fitzgerald, Vin Ernst, Bruce Hennigar, Caroline Mincks, and Megan Konrad.
The "Ukulele Review" was written by Tal Minear.
Music by Prod Riddiman & Lee Rosevere.

The Vanishing Act will return with SEASON TWO starting on Monday, November 22nd! We pick up right where we left off, literally minutes after the events of season one finale--on Christmas Eve, 1944. These five episodes will tell the story of our ragtag bunch of misfits–Augie, Conrad, Lilith, Rudyard, and Devorah–and their journey to find out if they can take one last lifeline to become better people, better (best?) friends, and maybe (MAYBE) actual protagonists.
Part 1: The Christmas Kiss premieres November 22nd, 2021.

🎶God help these foolish gentlemen and this one scientist,
Who all now have to make a play or fall to the abyss
While new friends come and help them out
At least much as they can,
As a voice from the past comes to complicate their plans,
Yeah, it really comes to screw up all their plans.🎶
